About
Since the beginning of our family-owned company’s foundation we have hired and trained the most experienced field operators, designers and craftsmen. Our process is one that requires ex-treme attention to detail and meticulous fabricating techniques using state of the art precision tooling, equipment and technology. Collaborating with architects, consultants, elevator companies, general contractors, property managers and building owners. Draper can transform early concepts into spectacularly executed realities. Be it new construction or the modification of an existing bank of elevators, our products are comprised of the finest, most in-novative, high quality materials available. When combined with our expertise and abilities, the result is an end product that delivers a lasting first impression, whether it’s a high-rise, Class ‘A’ building with 20+ elevators or a property with only one car that serves as both a passenger and freight; the specifications may be different but the expectation remains the same.

Soon thereafter, he became a member of the IUEC Local 4 as an elevator constructor while keeping his part-time fabricating duties. Here he gained the knowledge of the components needed for the construction and maintenance of elevators. After years of working multiple jobs John had built a strong and loyal customer base of his own. The elevator company he had been working for separated and he used this opportunity to purchase their equipment and begin the journey of starting a business of his own.
John is known and relied upon throughout the industry for his profound knowledge of both metal fabrication and elevator installations. His experience and oversight is the driving force behind Draper’s reputation, one that has been built on quality craftsmanship, trust and reliability.
