About the Project:
One Washington is a 16-story, first-class office building in Government Center Plaza across from Faneuil Hall. The property brings together a superb location, amenities, and extensive lobby and interior suite renovations. One Washington also features direct access via the MBTA’s State Street and Government Center Stations (the Green, Blue, and Orange lines), superior state-of-the-art building systems, street-level retail, a unique penthouse, 24-hour security, and underground parking. A central address and recent interior renovations position One Washington among the city’s top towers.

Scope of Project:
Draper worked closely with JLL and The Georgetown Company to design four elevator interiors featuring Onyx black mirror, perimeter lighting, and a custom wood ceiling.

Two 14-story office towers totaling 676,353 square feet of office space across from the Old State House. The building has a granite exterior and numerous amenities, including a food court, health club, Morton’s Steakhouse, post office, and a parking garage below street level.

Scope of the Project:
Draper worked with Belso Design & Build to design and fabricate six elevator enclosures with backlit Envel material on the rear wall, a custom LED perimeter-lit island ceiling, and bronze trim surrounding the panels.

About the Project:
Boston Harbor is a 34-acre, 3 million square foot five-star casino that opened on June 23rd 2019, along the Mystic River in Everett. Encore Boston Harbor features a 210,000 square foot gaming facility with approximately 3,200 slot machines and 160 gaming tables. A 24-story, 350-foot tall curved glass tower contains over 600 luxury hotel rooms with a standard room size of over 600 square feet.

Scope of the Project:
Ten tower passenger cabs, as well as, ten garage elevator enclosures. These elevator cab interiors feature spherical corners at all four sides of the canopies and custom thermoformed solid surface molding panel frames that have integrated LED perimeter lighting. To pull off this design and meet all code and weight requirements it took great collaboration. Draper partnered with Otis Elevator, Jacobs Architects, Suffolk Construction, Lerch Bates Consultants and the Wynn Design & Development team to deliver 20 elegant front of house elevator cabs. The process was over two years in the making and included two mock-up review meetings where all parties involved visited Draper’s manufacturing facility in Holbrook, MA to review fully fabricated cab enclosures and interiors.

100 Shawmut is a collection of 138 thoughtfully designed new luxury condominium residences for sale in Boston’s South End. This full-service luxury building merges historic charm with contemporary architecture that rises above the South End, one of Boston’s most renowned neighborhoods, offering sweeping vistas of Boston and generous private balconies, along with a comprehensive amenity program and private on-site parking.

Scope of Project:
Draper completed two elevator cab interiors for 100 Shawmut. The cabs continue themes from the lobby with marble over the handrail panels and satin bronze below. The white island ceiling’s perimeter lighting echoes the cove lighting found throughout the building.

The new headquarters of Moderna is located at the intersection of Binney Street and Fulkerson Street in Kendall Square, Cambridge. Formerly the location of the Metropolitan Pipe & Supply Company and one of the most innovative, collaborative clusters in the world, the site will be home to an approximately 370,462-square-foot, state-of-the-art, highly sustainable science and technology building.

Scope of Project:
Draper had been chosen to supply 13 cab interiors, the design of which incorporates a decorative glass rear element on the rear wall supplied by McGrory Glass as well as an edge-lit ceiling and Stylemark aluminum trim.

Located in Boston’s desirable Back Bay, this workspace is surrounded by luxury retail, dining, and living options. The newly designed office — featuring open, light-filled spaces and best-in-class amenities — was created with productivity in mind.

Scope of Project:
This 11-story office building recently renovated its entire lobby, which included seven elevator cabs as part of the overall building improvements. This design carried lobby finishes into the elevator cabs, most notably Galaxy Glass center panels with a custom interlayer.

Conveniently located at the heart of Boston’s Financial District, this 41-story Class A tower is home to some of the city’s most prominent business leaders and prestigious law, financial, real estate, and corporate firms. One Boston Place is always ready to welcome tenants, users, and visitors alike.

Scope of the Project:
On the heels of the successful completion of 33 Arch Street, Draper, Stantec, Shawmut, and the CBRE team dove right into the One Boston Place lobby repositioning project, which included renovating eighteen passenger elevators in this 41 story, class A high rise located in the heart of the Financial District. 1BP is currently the fifth tallest building in the city of Boston and is a prominent fixture in the Boston skyline. The elevator renovation included new ceiling systems and architectural glass panels. Etched stainless steel rear panels that match the main lobby doors were retained.

Located just steps from Fenway Park and a few blocks from Newbury Street, Longwood Medical, theaters, supermarkets, and public transportation, this is luxury living at its finest.

Scope of the Project:
Draper helped to design, fabricate, and install four cab interiors complete with Solberg 3D wall panels, large pieces of architectural glass on the rear walls, and LED down lighting.

Scope of the Project:
Draper crafted four luxurious elevator interiors for The Smith apartments. In order to maximize the durability and the aesthetics of these cabs, we made use of wire mesh for the panels. These cabs also feature a marble tile floor and a stainless steel island ceiling with LED down lights.

Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport is located in the center of the bustling Seaport District, across the street from the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, steps away from downtown Boston and Boston Harbor, and less than three miles from Boston’s Logan Airport. The AAA Four Diamond Rated hotel boasts 1,054 finely appointed guestrooms, including 52 suites, and 100,000 square feet of flexible function space. Omni Boston Seaport is now the largest hotel in the Seaport neighborhood.

Scope of the Project:
Draper worked closely with Elkus Manfredi & Moody Nolan to design, fabricate, and install eleven custom elevator cab interiors, custom decorative cladding of two escalators, and a grand stairway. Oxidized bronze, bronze mirror, and Porcelanosa Stone panels line these beautiful cab interiors.

Scope of the Project:
Two custom elevator interiors. The cabs continue the collegiate theme with plaid wall coverings, painted panels with crown molding, and a paneled dark wood ceiling.

This Class A high-rise is one of the most prominent buildings making up Boston’s skyline. Overlooking the Rose Kennedy Greenway, 99 High sits at the epicenter of Boston’s urban core—the gateway to both the Seaport and Financial District—offering tenants access to an unparalleled stream of energy and innovation.

Scope of the Project:
Draper was contracted by CBRE to modernize the sixteen (16) passenger elevators to wrap up a major lobby reposition project designed by Spagnolo Genesis Architects. This cab design utilized back-painted glass and a wood veneer to match the main lobby. The finishes were complemented by a dry ice acrylic LED back-lit ceiling.

About the Project:
This project is a 300,000 SF life science building in Boston’s Fort Point neighborhood. 15 Necco Street will be fully occupied by Eli Lilly and Company, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world, as the Lilly Institute for Genetic Medicine. The waterfront property, which overlooks Fort Point Channel and the Harborwalk, features a tenant-exclusive rooftop terrace, a publicly accessible lobby and street-level restaurant space, and will include state-of-the-art resiliency and sustainability features. The life science building is targeting LEED Gold Core & Shell, Fitwel Life Science, and WiredScore Platinum certifications.

Scope of the Project:
Draper outfitted six (6) custom elevator cabs that showcase a glowing acrylic ceiling and brilliant etched glass from Galaxy Glass. Custom bronze rails round out these interiors. In the first floor lobby, Draper also fabricated and installed 1/4″ blade style entrances.

About the Project:
The Moakley Courthouse serves as headquarters for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit and the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts. The building houses two appeals courtrooms, 19 district courtrooms, 6 magistrate’s courtrooms, 42 judge’s chambers, a law library, offices for the U.S. attorney, and extensive facilities to support the operations of the federal courts. The total square foot floor area is 750,000 and spans 10 floors. The courthouse sits prominently on the waterfront and is considered to be a vital piece of the development of Boston’s seaport district.

Scope of the Project:
Draper partnered with Metro Elevator to complete a four (4) car modernization of the public elevators. This project included a very detailed submittal, review, and design process due to the building’s historic significance. Each finish and architectural detail reflects careful thought that meets building code standards, along with tying in details from the building’s original and unique construction. The GSA and courts visited Draper’s facility prior to the installation of the first elevator to review a full-scale mock-up of the elevator cab.

100 Chestnut is the signature life science building of North River Leerink’s new Brickbottom District, which opened its doors in 2023. This 200,000 SF LEED Platinum-certified laboratory and office building offers a rare opportunity for pioneering minds to shape Somerville’s next life science hub. 100 Chestnut will be a best-in-class facility that sets the standard for the reimagined Brickbottom District as a 24/& destination where scientific innovation meets wellness. The purpose-built project is designed around green spaces for community gatherings and events, premium food & beverage vendors, and public art installations. Only 7 minutes from Kendall Square, 100 Chestnut is connected to the life science epicenter via the Green Line T and the Community Path.

Scope of the Project:
The innovative design and lighting highlight the three (3) custom elevators at 100 Chestnut with acoustical wood slat rear walls that feature linear LED back-lighting at the corners. The slat walls match a gorgeous main lobby. The sidewalls and cab front’s swing-operated control fixtures were custom-fabricated using Forms+Surfaces textured stainless steel.
