84 State Street Boston, MA ✔ About the Project: 84 State Street Boston, MA

✔ About the Project:
The India Building is a beautifully restored, 11-story Beaux-Arts style building enjoys one of the most desirable locations in the heart of Boston’s financial district and is only steps away from the vibrant Faneuil Hall Marketplace. Access to major highways, walking distance to virtually all public transportation, public parking garages and proximity to some of the city’s favorite destinations make this one of Boston’s most attractive business addresses.

✔ Scope of Project:
Draper collaborated with both Fusion Design Consultants and Lincoln Properties to renovate four (4) extremely dated elevators. A common hurdle buildings in the Financial District face when upgrading their interiors is how to move away from bronze or brass finishes without having to change out every detail throughout the building. In these elevators all bronze metal was refinished to a dark oil rubbed patina finish. The goal was to get away from the mirror bronze within the elevators without a having to upgrade the control fixtures and transition well from the lobby entrance frames. Porcelanosa stone and Chilewich fabrics accent the Draper’s Faneuil Hall cab configuration.
