Rich has spent his career working with his hands, solving problems, and developing a strong understanding of how things are built and how they work. He began his career working for a carpenter during summers and for several years after college, building a foundation in construction and craftsmanship.

He later joined IUEC Local 4 as an elevator constructor, spending the next 10 years with a small independent elevator company. That experience gave Rich the opportunity to work across nearly every aspect of the elevator trade, including new construction, modernization, service, repair, and troubleshooting.

After a decade in the field, Rich brought that hands-on experience to the family business at Draper Elevator Interiors. Today, he oversees field operations, using his knowledge of the elevator industry and construction to ensure every installation is completed safely, efficiently, and to the high standard of quality Draper expects.
