About the Project:

This projects is an upcoming 10-story, 325,000-square-foot inpatient building which would provide Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, one of Boston’s largest teaching hospitals, with new space to adapt to meet the needs of patients and communities in a rapidly changing health care environment. The building will include private patient rooms, imaging facilities, and operating rooms, with a rooftop helicopter pad. The new inpatient building will be part of Beth Israel’s West Campus, in the heart of the Longwood Medical Area and will connect to the Rosenberg Building and the bridge to the Farr Building in multiple locations to facilitate access for patients, families, and caregivers.

Scope of Project:

This project was part of the new construction development for inpatient care. The hospital’s facilities management team played a large part in the design choices within the cab interiors. In a post covid world ease of cleaning was very important. We worked together along with the architect team Payette to come up with a design that featured materials that were anti absorbent and maintenance free.
